What have you been reading this week?
This is going to be a super quick rundown because I feel absolutely dreadful. I’ve got a stinking cold and my throat is so painful. My plan was to finish this and get an early night. Of course, that’s not gone to plan as I’ve sat with this post open for ages and not written a damn thing.

- BOOK REVIEW –Open Water by Caleb Azumah Nelson
This book has been on my TBR for a while and I knew that I really wanted to finish it before the end of the year. Thankfully, a fellow Bookstagrammer suggested that we read it as a buddy read this month. Would it be worth the wait? Check out my review to find out.
- TUESDAY REVIEW – Eternals (2021)
Even though I still wasn’t sure that I cared about this film, I decided to give it a go. Yes, the critical response hasn’t exactly been great but we know what critics are like when it comes to Marvel movies. Could this film really be as bad as everyone was saying? Check out my review to find out.

Just Read
- Open Water by Caleb Azumah Nelson
I started reading this last Sunday afternoon and I didn’t move until I’d finished it. I just couldn’t put it down. This is one of those books that is so easy to read but has so much depth to it. It’s no wonder so many people will consider it their book of the year.
- Rebel Girls Climate Warriors
I got a copy of this through NetGalley and was really looking forward to reading it. This series has been great and I knew the climate change one would be really inspiring. Thankfully, it was also short enough for me to finish my Reading Challenge in time.

- An English Murder by Cyril Hare
Christmas is a time for family. It’s also a time for festive themed murder mysteries. I’m starting the month with this one. I’m hoping that I have the energy to get it read today.
Book Haul
I’ve bought a few things but it’ll take more effort than I can take to finish this section right now. I’ll update this soon.

- Come Dine With Me: Champion of Champions– I didn’t know this show existed until it was on Netflix. So, I’ve been watching it non-stop. It’s so stupid but so addictive. Exactly what I need right now.
