It’s been a while since we’ve done one of these, huh. I was undecided about whether I would carry on doing this series but I had so much fun this week that I had to post my pics. The Creatively Squared challenge for this week was all about food styling. I have a lot of cookbooks and I’m always blown away by the photos. But I never do much cooking and I’m really the kind of person who feels comfortable photographing every meal. So, the #cs_styledandserved hashtag gave me the excuse to give it a go. I had a lot of fun pretending I was a professional for a bit. Apparently, all that binge watching of Masterchef Australia was all leading up to this moment.

I’ve recently bought some more vinyl backdrops and they’ve really come in handy this week. Or at least one of them. I’m loving them and it does make a nice change from plain white. Especially when I’d always edit the shit out them and blind everyone. I do have to admit that I didn’t make anything in these photos myself. I just plated them, snapped them, and then ate them. This was such a bad week for my healthy living thing. Shame is, I don’t even regret it.
